Fabric Acquisition Road Trip in Adelaide
This is the first post in what i’m hoping will be an epic series and awesome guide to Aussie quilt stores and their locations. First up is Quilt Stores that call Adelaide in South Australia home.
(Or as I like to call it “Rad-a-Laide”)
I thought I had come across most quilting acronyms. Like HST’s, RST’s, WIP, WOF, FHS, FIU, DSM, FMQ etc etc etc. But then I came across F.A.R.T.
Yep. FART.
And I’m sure you guys have heard it before, but I have to share with you, my sheer delight at discovering this one recently! After all, I am that mum who laughs along with her kids when the Tomato Sauce bottle makes a fart noise hahaha

And perhaps it’s because I’m a part of the ‘online generation’ who orders everything through the internet and never has face to face contact and can’t hold a conversation, blah blah… that I have never had the pleasure of partaking in a ‘ride or die’ style F.A.R.T!
I’m picturing winding roads, windows down and playing “Life is a Highway” at full volume. My kids would DIE of embarrassment! So lets take a look around the streets of Adelaide and see what we can find.

Adelaide might be known as ‘The City Of Churches’ but I am a woman of simple worship which includes the faithful devotion to Fabric Acquisition.
